I really like the Chocolate Cherry Cardigan & Skirt Set for bitty baby. But did not know if it would fit Molly? Has anyone tried to put a bitty baby outfit on one of the 18inch dolls?

This is totally OT, but I noticed your album of Samantha and Kirsten's makeovers. I was especially impressed with Kirsten's! Is she a PM or M? Also, can you tell me what the 'shine' was that you put on her hair? TIA!! Great job on restoring your girls' hair!

In Chicago, I tried the purple and teal Bitty outfit, the one with the little poncho, on Kit. It fit fine except the pants were capris. The girth of the dolls is pretty comparable, unless you have a really skinny AG. (My Kit is really chubby.) The AGs are 3" taller, so everything will be a bit shorter.
I'd love to see pictures of Molly if you do decide to get this outfit!

A lot of bitty's outfits will fit the "big girls", but pants might fit more like capris, skirts or dresses could be slightly shorter. The shoes are very hard to put on the 18" dolls.

especially cute on 18" dolls is the valentine set:

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Thank you for the kind words. Kirsten is pm she has the artist mark behind her right ear. I use Pantene smooth and shine anti-frizz serum, but I would guess any shine product would work. I was told that redkin mades a good one.

Yes - our AGs wear several Bitty clothes. They fit fine around the waist, but the pants are about 1.5 inches shorter. I think Bitty's cherry outfit will look darling on Molly. I'm thinking about ordering it for Nellie or Samantha. I think it's cuter than the AG set; I really like the red tulle peeking out from under the skirt.

MollyGirl, thank you! If it's not too much trouble, could you tell me exactly how you restored Kirsten's hair? You can PM me if you want. My Kirsten is PM and I have taken very good care of her, but her hair is soooo dry. If you could give me your instructions, I think I could follow them. TIA!

How does the new Bitty Princess outfit fit on AGs? It looks like it would be too big around the middle, but then, I've never seen a Bitty in person to compare waist sizes.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It would fit fine around the waist, but I rather imagine it would be more tea length. In this instance, I wouldn't buy it. Pants and skirts do OK a little short, but I think the princess gown just wouldn't look right.

On the other hand ... if it doesn't work, you could send it back or resell it.

My Raggedy alter ego, Morgaine, likes some of the BB outfits so I have a few for her that I've tried on the AGs. The summer shorts, polo shirt and sneakers for the boy Twin fit my white-bodied Molly perfectly but as a rule, the shoes are too small. I don't know why they make the pants so short -- they're even short on my BB, Sasha! -- but if you want to waste an entire evening, you can let down the autumn ones. I took the turquoise fur hem off one leg last night and have the other to look forward to -- oh joy -- but when I'm done, the legs on that outfit may be long enough for Morgaine. The bathing suit fits Marisol perfectly but it's very stretchy. The blue, white and red sailor dress looks sort of early Shirley Temple on an AG but if you like that babydoll length, go for it! I'm guessing the new chocolate cherry (whatever) outfit would look kind of short and flirty on an AG, so might work!
